MERRY CHRISTMAS

We survived the first Christmas! Chase got so many toys our house looks like Toys R Us! We started Christmas Eve by going to Great Grandma Lillian's, and then going to Mountain Top to spend time with all the cousins at Rutt's. Chase got to play with his cousins, a dancing santa on skies, a train, and the best part of the night was when Santa came to Rutt's house and had a present for all of the kids!
Christmas Day was spent at my parents, Chase had so much fun and of course got a ton more toys!!

Happy Halloween 2009

Chase had such a great week at the babysitters, even though mommy was a nervous wreck and nothing could be right as far as I was concerned. Chase had his four month check up on Wednesday, he is currently weighing in at 15lbs. 13oz and is 26". He is still in the 75th percentile. Chase is now on formula number 5, hopefully he continues to like this one so far so good- let's keep our fingers crossed!
Halloween was great! During the day we went and picked up Grandma and took a ride to Wesley Village to visit Great Grandma and Aunt Susan. Grandma gave Chase new toys and Great Grandma and Aunt Susan gave me a counting cow. Chase went home took his afternoon nap and then off to Trish and Dave's to trick or treat with all of his friends! Chase was so excited he did not stop smiling or laughing the entire night, he went around the whole neighborhood and loved all the lights and other trick or treaters!

New toy and Phillies Win!

So Chase is finally big enough the be in his jumperoo, and he absolutely loves it! We took him to the doctor last Friday because of a cold and he is now weighing in at 15lbs. 7oz! I guess we can say the formula is doing its job. I do have to say formula is not fun, we have been trying different ones, some give us alot of gas, others make him constipated, but I think we found one- gentlease by enfamil.
Chase has been wearing a lot of phillies gear this past week to cheer his team on. The final game against the Rookies Chase and Matt enjoyed the game together, with Chase in his bumbo chair. I can't believe how fast he is starting to do things. Chase rolled over twice on Sunday at our friends house and of course Matt missed it, and he has not done it since!
And yes we cannot forget about the poor dog! We finally broke down and took him to the vet, he has allergies, he is allergic to something outside or in his food. We really want Mufasa to be a part of the family so we bought him a seat for the car, and yes he gets to ride shotgun!

Colorado, wedding, Fair, Three Months

Ok so we have been a little busy, I guess I'm trying to get it all in before I go back to work. September was busy we made a trip to Colorado to celebrate Cousin Morgan's 2nd Birthday, and meet all of the cousins out there. When we got back from CO we had Jill's wedding, and it was the first time mommy and daddy left me for longer than four hours. Aunt Joanie did a great job with me and I had so much fun!
When we got back from our trip Chase turned three months and started having some power drinks, he is getting really big and filling out especially in my face. (formula)We celebrated our first wedding anniversary at the celtic Festival in Bethlehem, Chase got a lot of cute Irish wear, Cousin Jill met us there.
On Wednesday night we took Chase to the Bloomsburg Fair, it was very cold but I loved all the lights of the fair. I also have been visiting with my great grandma Mary and telling her lots of stories, I like to eat dinner with her. Matt is almost done with our bathroom at least the tile is down and the toliet is in!
On Thursday I had a play date with mommy's friend Erin and her son Brayden he is only a month younger than I am, we went for a walk and then they came over for a little bit. Fall has definitely hit here in PA it is cold and wet.

Oh sooo Big!

Chase is two months old! He had his well check up today and he is 24" and weighs 12lbs 6oz, he is in the 75th percentile for his height. We have had a lot of fun these past couple of weeks. I take him to swim lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays with me, and we also had my friend Trish's 30th birthday party, Chase loved Strawberry Jam and mommy and daddy had a great time too!

Chase is doing a really good job with belly time and is holding his head up well, mufasa likes to help. He is also holding onto his toy with the help of his mom. Sleeping is still between six and seven hours a night, but we did move him to his crib and we have had no problems.

Busy Summer

Chase has been a very busy baby this summer. Recently we went to see his cousins Katie, Mary, and Jimmy to celebrate Mary's 3rd birthday. He had so much fun watching the kids play and run circles around him. Chase also had the opportunity to play with his cousins Aidan, Maggie, and Michael.
Chase is starting to laugh and smile all the time now. We are still waking for the 4am feeding every night- he is just like a little clock, during the day every three hours he wants to eat. We are still going swimming a lot, and shopping. Chase gets a lot of daddy time on the weekends to give mommy a little break!

Swimming , Old Friends, and Burgers

Chase went swimming for the first time on July 26, 2009. He loved the water- but I dont think we would have it any other way. As soon as he entered the water his legs started to move back and forth! He did such a good job we were outside from 1pm- 7pm, he slept very good that night. Here are some pictures of before we went and during.
On Wednesday Chase got to hang out with his pop-pop and guess where mommy found them- Kings Pizza on the deck. Chase got to meet his cousin Corey and spend some time with Uncle Danny.
On Friday Chase and I took a ride down to Blandon to see Laura, Liam, and Tegan, along with friends that I have not seen in 18 years Nancy and Roseann Lisa who also had their children it was a very nice day.
On Saturday we went with Matt to Clearfield, Pa to the home of Denny's Beer Barrel Pub that was featured on the Food Network. We drove 2 1/2 hours so Matt and his friend Dean could attempt to eat 2 pound cheeseburgers! Attempt was good but they did not complete the challenge, the burgers beat them up! Chase does very well traveling we can forget he is with us because all he does is sleep or play with his elephant on his car seat.

I'm getting big

We cannot believe a month has gone bye. Chase is starting to stay awake a little more each day, 6pm- 9pm he is the most awake. He is a very content little guy, he loves to lay in his crib and listen to his seahorse.
Matt bought a giraffe that we are going to take his picture with every month to see how he is growing. Of course mufasa wanted to get in on the action as well.
Chase also loves going for a walk everyday with his mom, while his dad takes pictures.

One month

Chase is a great baby and we can't believe he is a month already. Chase is eating 4oz at a feeding and is a very good sleeper! Chase has had a new visitor every weekend to meet him- he is a very lucky baby. So far he has gone to a fourth of July parade and picnic, has been to harvey's lake, out for pizza, out to lunch, to the farmers market, to a bbq, a bridal shower, and of course shopping.
